In one of many deals that Atlanta Falcons made before the closing bell of the NFL Trade Deadline on Tuesday, the franchise traded safety Dean Marlowe to the Buffalo Bills. In return, the team will acquire a 2023 seventh-round draft pick.
Marlowe, 30, is a New York native and played for the Bills from 2018-20 and made 26 appearances for the team in that span.
The veteran safety signed a one-year contract with the Falcons back during free agency in March. He made one start and accumulated 11 total tackles through the team's first eight games of the season.
The Atlanta Falcons have traded depth safety Dean Marlowe to the Buffalo Bills at the deadline in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
