The Atlanta Falcons have been on the wrong end of some of the more surprising results in the NFL this season. They have been the team that unexpected players receive the "game-ball" after, and they need to avoid being that team again this Sunday.

The Falcons are traveling to Bank of America Stadium on Sunday to face the Carolina Panthers, who at 1-12 are currently the worst team in the NFL, and they don't want Panthers rookie QB Bryce Young to be the latest in a long list of surprise performances by opposing teams signal callers.

The Falcons issues defending average QB's began in Week 2 when they allowed 3 TD's to Jordan Love in his 3rd career start and continued a few weeks later when Sam Howell also went for 3 TD's against them.

The worst stretch for the Falcons in defending QB's was when they allowed 4 Td's to Titans QB Will Levis in his first career start, 3 TD's to Josh Dobbs (1 rushing) after he'd only been with the Vikings for a few days, and Kyler Murray threw for 250 yards and ran for a TD in his first game back from an injury that cost him a full season.

Bryce Young threw for a TD but also tossed two costly interceptions in the Panthers Week 1 loss to the Falcons, surprisingly beat CJ Stroud heads up when the Texans visited, and is looking for his 2nd career win.
