Falcons have 'no surprises' on their 53

The Atlanta Falcons have cut their roster down to 53. They ended their preseason with a loss to the Cleveland Browns. It's not too surprising that the Falcons loss a game, but the preseason concluded without Matt Ryan taking a snap and the entire projected starters on the offensive line not taking a snap as well.

Those two things were more interesting than the Falcons dwindling their roster to the magic number. Michael Rothstein, of ESPN, joined the Jon Chuckery show to talk about if anything stood out to him when the Falcons got down to 53 men on their roster. "Not a ton of surprises" Rothstein said.

There were some position battles that, if you were paying attention, had already played themselves out on the field. The left guard spot, as of right now, is occupied by Josh Andrews and Kaleb McGary has settled in at the right tackle spot.

Hopefully the Falcons have seen what they needed to see from that first group because all of the questions about the line won't be answered until September 12th against the Philadelphia Eagles.
