Between their game against the Washington Commanders and the first half of their game against the Buffalo Bills the Atlanta Falcons offense scored seven touchdowns across six quarters, and it looked like everything was starting to click for Offensive Coordinator Zac Robinson and the Falcons offense.

However in their last six quarters, the second half of the Bills game and their entire game against the 49ers, Atlanta has only scored one touchdown, and all the questions about Zac Robinson and the Falcons offense that were starting to be put to bed, are being raised again.

Why is the Falcons offense so inconsistent? Well, The Morning Shift believes it’s because Atlanta’s offense has an identity crisis.

“We have this identity crisis where we are still living out Arthur Smith’s vision on offense of all this athleticism, but yet we don’t utilize that at the quarterback spot and it’s disjointed. We’re running two different offenses at the same time. We’re running Arthur Smith’s vision for the run game, and we’re running Sean McVay’s vision for a passing game with Matt Stafford and it’s not matching up, and that’s why you see the product you see on the field on Sunday.” Mike Johnson said

Despite the Falcons being 7th in total offense they’re 28th in scoring offense, and until Zac Robinson, Raheem Morris, and the Falcons offensive coaching staff figures out just what the identity and the vision of the offense is you’ll continue to see the inconsistent Falcons offense that you’ve seen through their first six games.
