The Falcons pass-rush has been one of the worst in the league the past couple of years, but this year, with 26 sacks in 12 games, Atlanta is actually better than seven other teams in terms of bringing down the opposing team's QB. And you can see the difference it makes in close games.

While holding a slim edge against the Jets in the 4th Quarter of Sunday's 13-8 win and needing to keep the Jets from driving for the go-ahead touchdown, the Falcons got a sack and forced fumble when the Jets were in Falcons territory, and on the very next possession, one that happened to be the Jets final time touching the ball, the Falcons recorded a 3rd down sack that costs the Jets 7 yards and set up a play on 4th down that effectively ended the game for the Falcons.

One of the players who has had a bigger impact in recent weeks has been Arnold Ebiketie, who has a sack in 4 straight games now and all 5.5 of his sacks on the season have come in the last six games.

Arnold Ebiketie was drafted by the Falcons in the 2nd Round of the 2022 NFL Draft and things didn't click for him immediately despite big expectations, he recorded just 2.5 sacks in his rookie season and through five games this season he hadn't recorded one either, but he's become a difference maker in recent weeks for the NFC South-leading Atlanta Falcons
