The NFL season is here as training camps have begun this week, with Falcons’ players set to report to Flowery Branch on Thursday to begin preparing for the start “the most important season that we’ve had in a decade,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said on Monday as he and cohost, Mike Bell, shared thoughts on the Falcons beginning training camp.

“We’ve not gone to the playoffs in seven years and if you’re sitting there right now and you’re willing to say, ‘hey Dukes and Bell, man I love you guys but I could go another three years without going to the playoffs,’ I don’t know what to tell you,” Dukes said as he explained why he believes Atlanta's seven year playoff drought adds more emphasis to how well they must do this season.

“When you don’t go to the playoffs for seven years, you’re considered one of the worst teams in the league,” Bell said as he noted being in agreeance with Dukes on the importance of the Falcons reaching the postseason. “That’s why this is the most important season,” Dukes added.
