As the 2026 NFL free agency period continues, the Atlanta Falcons have been one of the busy teams, having signed 13 new players, with Tua Tagovailoa being considered the most notable move, however the signings of wide receivers, Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus left room for 92-9 The Game’s Abe Gordon to express concern in regards to Falcons wide receiver, Drake London getting a contract extension soon.

“Let me ask you this. If you were to draft a receiver, [Zacchariah] Branch or whoever, at 48, would there be concern from you if you also have not extended Drake London yet?” Gordon asked as he and Mike Bell were discussing Georgia Bulldogs’ players the Falcons may potentially have a chance to draft in this year’s draft.

“It’s not exactly a slam dunk,” Bell said as he explained why he believes London’s stats and skill set are deserving of contract extension for the fifth-year wide receiver to within in range of that of Indianapolis Colts wide receiver, Alec Pierce, who agreed to a four-year, $116 million deal earlier this month, the fact London was not a selection of the new Falcons’ front office could lead to hesitation by the organization to get a new deal done. “They didn’t draft him,” Bell said.
