The Atlanta Falcons open the 2020 season at home on Sunday facing the Seattle Seahawks and their star QB Russell Wilson.
In six games against the Atlanta Falcons (regular season and playoffs) Russell Wilson is .500 (3-3 record) and while he's thrown for 10 touchdowns, he's also handed Atlanta four interceptions and been sacked 12 times.
When breaking down the Falcons keys to the game, John and Hugh both settled on the same aspect: the defensive line limiting Russell Wilson's ability to beat them on the run.
"The biggest thing is to keep contain on a guy like Russell Wilson and make him beat you from the pocket," says Hugh Douglas. "Russell Wilson is not the tallest QB in the pocket, and when he gets ready to throw the ball try to time him and get your hands up, make him deliver the ball from the pocket."
If the Falcons can execute the game-plan laid out by Hugh Douglas they could get the win on Sunday and start the season 1-0.
