On Wednesday, the Georgia Bulldogs hosted their pro day for the program’s NFL prospects and as expected, the Atlanta Falcons were in attendance as president, Matt Ryan, general manager, Ian Cunningham and new head coach, Kevin Stefanski were all onsite.
“I did notice this. So I stood back today and I kind of watched. Those guys were there to work,” Rusty Mansell of DawgsHQ said of the Falcons front office and head coach as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Mike Bell and Abe Gordon to discuss the outing for several Georgia players.
“I’m not putting words in anybody’s mouth, but I will tell you this, when Zachariah Branch started running routes, Matt Ryan and Ian Cunningham, they weren’t b.sing. They stepped right to the front,” Mansell said of the attention Ryan and Cunningham paid to the Georgia wide receiver.
“They stood there and I promise you, I saw it with my own eyes, they had extra interest,” Mansell said. “I don’t know if he’s going to be there but I can tell you that their attention was a little bit different when number one started running those routes today,” Mansell added.Falcons staff appeared to pay close attention to Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch
