Yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine Alabama Edge Rusher Dallas Turner ran a 4.47 40-yard dash, had a 10’7” broad jump, and proved to have a 40 ½ inch vertical. With Turner’s athletic ability, size, and what he’s shown he can do on the field, could Turner be a Micah Parsons type of player? The Morning Shift discussed it earlier today.
“Micah Parsons does it all and that’s kind of what Dallas Turner was described as by Tony Pauline.” Beau Morgan said. Beau also mentioned the fact that Turner ran a 4.47 40-yard dash and even though Parsons didn’t run at the combine he reportedly ran a 4.39 and 4.4 at his pro day.
If the Falcons decide to trade for Justin Fields, sign Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, or Baker Mayfield and don’t have to use their first round pick on a quarterback, at eight overall Atlanta would be in a prime spot to draft the Alabama Edge Rusher/Linebacker/ Micah Parsons do it all tye player, and all Atlanta Falcons fans know the Falcons have been needing a guy that can consistently sack the quarterback for over a decade.
