The Atlanta Falcons have been going through the process of trying to hire their next general manager and head coach. Even though that could be a hard process to go through, the hardest part for the Falcons will be figuring out what to do with their roster going forward.
The Falcons have always taken care of their players financially. Even if they were only serviceable, they still received extensions. Now the next regime will have to answer to those contracts as they try to figure out how to put a competitive roster on the field.
Jason La Canfora, of Radio.com, joined the Jon Chuckery show and gave his thoughts on where this organization currently stands. "If ever somebody needed to start tearing it down, it's there" La Canfora said. For the past three years the Falcons have had a losing record.
They have tried to recapture that magic from 2016 for some time now, but now it's time to take the blinders off and make the tough decisions needed to set themselves up for the future.
