As the NFL combine begins this week and the 2024 draft nears, questions surrounding the Atlanta Falcons and the direction they will go in regard to addressing who will be their starting quarterback when the season begins continue to circulate. There is the potential of the Falcons considering a move for Chicago Bears quarterback and Atlanta native, Justin Fields.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, the talk around the Bears is whether or not they should continue with Fields as their signal-caller or use their No. 1 overall pick to draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams, who is consider to be the type of player that teams cannot pass on if in need of a quarterback. Well last week, Chicago sports radio station, 670 The Score, hosted a QB1 Town Hall, in which they invited listeners to join in on a discussion as to what the Bears should do.

On Monday, 670's Matt Spiegel joined Steak Shapiro and Rusty Mansell on The Steakhouse to discuss the Town Hall, and more importantly in relation to the Falcons, should Terry Fontenot and Raheem Morris pursue Fields? What the franchise would get.

"The problem, after 38 starts, I still don't believe he is as good a pocket passer as you have to be to win a Super Bowl in this league," Spiegel said. "I don't believe it." Spiegel shared more thoughts on the challenges he believes Fields has.

"He's so incredibly good at a bunch of other things, like if there's five different tools, he's really, really good at four of them, but that fifth one is the most important," Spiegel said as he explained why Fields' apparent pocket passing deficiency could be them one thing that hampers him from being a good fit for the Falcons or any team potentially interested in him.
