After the Atlanta Falcons suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Sunday, losing to the Indianapolis Colts 31-25 in overtime, discussion as to whether or not there should be some more personnel changes with the coaching staff were front and center or Monday as 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mark Zinno shared their thoughts on Sunday’s matchup.
“Sometimes you have to look yourself in the mirror and you have to be completely honest with yourself,” Dukes said as he explained he believes the Falcons need to do some internal evaluation, specifically in regards to their offense and the play of Michael Penix Jr.
“Right now, we have to do this as Falcons’ fans and understand that our quarterback is not good,” Dukes said as he shared his thoughts on why he believes despite “the flashes” of potential Penix Jr. has displayed at times, the second-year quarterback “has no confidence,” therefore struggling with his throws. “Those things are happening because he’s uncomfortable,” Dukes added.
