There is a lot of news going around in the NFL that could change the trajectory of certain teams in the 2020 season. There have been some conversations in the league office about playoff expansion.
That may be music to a certain interim head coach's ears.
Ever since Raheem Morris took over as the interim head coach, the Atlanta Falcons have looked like a different team.
Bryant McFadden, of CBSSports.com, joined Dukes and Bell and echoed that same sentiment. The schedule coming out of the bye is going to be difficult, but McFadden believes that could be a good thing for the Falcons.
"If you beat the Saints, think about the confidence and momentum going forward," McFadden said.
The Falcons play the Saints twice in three weeks with the Las Vegas Raiders sprinkled in the middle. If the Falcons find a way to go 3-0, maybe Arthur Blank does remove that interim tag from Morris' office door.
