Falcons Training Camp: Offense being ahead of the defense is not a good thing

Atlanta Falcons training camp is underway and the first day of padded practice was on Tuesday.

One of the biggest takeaways of the morning practice was the offense getting the better of the defense, especially rookie TE Kyle Pitts making things look easy.

While the offensive performance might get the fans who were in attendance at Flowery Branch excited, it concerns Morning Show host Hugh Douglas.

"Everybody looks pretty good in training camp. Normally the first few weeks your defense looks better than your offense. Offense is out there winning the day? Not a great sign," expresses Hugh Douglas. "Defense is always ahead, so that's why I cannot get overly excited about anything that I see or hear."

Does the early offensive explosion excite you or concern you and who needs to have a bigger impact for the Falcons to find success this season?
