The NFL Draft always comes with a unique energy, some fanbases will leave excited for the future while others will wonder where their team is headed.
"I think Falcons fans will be disappointed in some form," says Sporting News' NFL Draft Analyst Vinnie Iyer when asked about who they could take at #8.
"Take the best player available. There's a lot of things the Falcons need, maybe get the wide receiver for your next quarterback, get Kyle Pitts some help," continues Iyer. "Is it a luxury pick for them, but is it the best player? Going to be very interesting to see what they do overall."
For most of the offseason Falcons GM Terry Fontenot spoke about taking the best player available and he reiterated that when he joined Dukes and Bell on Tuesday.
"We want to take the best player off the board," says Fontenot. "When we say that, we want to bring in the best possible player for the team and not reach for a position."
