DeAndre Hopkins was released by the Arizona Cardinals on Friday, prompting discussions around the league as to where he will land next. 92.9 The Game’s Falcons reporter Joe Patrick joined John Fricke and discussed the possibility of Hopkins landing in Atlanta.
While Patrick is in favor of the move, the Falcons could use their remaining cap space on other needs including defensive end. An intriguing option could be defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, an area the Falcons could always use more depth at. Hopkins would certainly add to a bolstered wide receiver room featuring Drake London, Mack Hollins and Scotty Miller.
Hopkins, 30, played in nine games last season following a PED suspension, caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
