21 wins, 27 losses.
That's the Falcons' record home in Mercedes-Benz stadium since it opened in 2017.
This needs to change. And Steak Shapiro on Monday morning's Steakhouse gave Falcons fans the three keys for making sure Atlanta has a winning record at home in 2023 by making the Benz one of the toughest places to play in the league.
Key No. 1 - win. This one seems like the most obvious of keys, but if the Falcons don't win, the excitement won't be there. The formula is simple here, according to Steak. "So what does that mean? Win your home opener, win your second game, and be 2-0. Guess what happens when you're 7-2? You don't give away your Sunday tickets."
Key No. 2 - have stars. More specifically, your stars need to be offensive stars. Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Desmond Ridder, these are the guys that need to be the big-time play makers for your team in order for the fan excitement to be there.
Final point - you need to hate the team that is playing the Falcons at the Benz. Every week. There doesn't need to any rooting interest or curiosity about seeing any opposing team. "Hostile doesn't mean rolling in on a sleepy Sunday against a Carolina team. No, hate your opponents."
