It's no secret, financially, where the Atlanta Falcons currently stand. There have been so many rumors about whether or not Julio Jones gets traded after June 1st.
Julio Jones is arguably the most talented player to ever put on a Falcons jersey. So, when trade rumors start flying around about a guy of that ilk, it's totally understandable for the emotions to follow. Financially, this is where this organization is.
Michael Rothstein, of ESPN, joined the Jon Chuckery show to help explain how dire the Falcons situation is. "They are left with few options, in terms of what to do between Julio Jones, and getting something done with Grady Jarrett" Rothstein said.
If the Falcons do trade Julio Jones, it would mostly be because of financial reasons. Terry Fontenot knew exactly what he signed up for when he took this job, now he just has to execute the plan he had for it.
