The Atlanta Falcons officially introduced Arthur Smith as their head coach today. There is a lot of excitement that comes with the hiring of a new coach. The fan base is excited because there is a sense of hope as they look towards the future.
After all of pleasantries go away Smith will have to sit down and look at his personnel to figure out how they fit into what he wants to do as a head coach.
Kevin Dyson, of the Titans radio network, joined the Jon Chuckery show to give some insight into why Smith was able to produce in Tennessee. "One thing I've seen with Arthur is he's doing very well with certain guy's skillset" Dyson said.
The first sign of a good coach is realizing who you have on your roster and then implement a system that maximizes their potential. If Smith is able to figure out how to get this offense back on track, he will surely confirm that he was the right man for the job.
