The Atlanta Falcons defense has struggled so far in 2020 and Defensive Coordinator Raheem Morris says the time is now for the team to turn things around. The guys on Dukes & Bell talked about the comments made by the team’s DC.
Carl talked about the comments made by Raheem Morris.
“Our defense has had some issues, there’s no doubt about that. When you look at the numbers we are statistically last in almost every category right now after two weeks,” Dukes said. “Raheem Morris came out today and basically said, and I’m quoting here 'We have to, we got to turn this thing around.' And he was pretty adamant about where this defense is, and where this football team is and this team being 0-2.”
Mike said he doesn’t understand the way the team calls plays on defense.
“The idea that Jeff Ulbrich would call first and second down and then Raheem Morris would call third down," Bell said. "Again it worked well enough last year to beat the 49ers and Saints and go 6-2, but does it seem kind of whacky to you?”
