The NFL Draft is now one month away, and we know the Atlanta Falcons still need another pass rusher to sack the quarterback, a cornerback that can be successful on the opposite side of A.J. Terrell, and even though they’ve signed Darnell Mooney, Ray-Ray McCloud, and traded for Rondale Moore the Falcons will still draft a receiver at some point in the draft, but what other needs do the Falcons need to address? What positions might the Falcons draft in the later rounds of April’s draft? Earlier today The Morning talked about what direction the Falcons might go in for the late draft rounds.
“I think they’ll add depth on the defensive line”. Beau Morgan said. Morgan also believes they will double dip when it comes to drafting a pass rusher as well saying “I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t take two edge players in the first four rounds.”
Atlanta has spent a lot of money on the offensive side of the football in free agency this offseason, opposite of what they did last offseason, but that should spell a defensive heavy draft for the Falcons come one month from now.
