The Atlanta Falcons kick off their 2020 season on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. Dukes & Bell talked about how slowing down Wilson could be the key to winning their season opener.
Carl talked about what the Falcons need to do to slow the Seattle QB.
“They are very much like us, or we are like them, either way it’s about play action and if you go the run game working you can see Russell Wilson on that bootleg rolling out and throwing the ball down the field but when that run game’s not working it’s a little harder to achieve.” Dukes said “That’s not the only key for this Sunday, we’ve got to get Russell Wilson when we have an opportunity on the ground.”
“This is an experienced playoff team, an experienced quarterback, who’s won a Super Bowl, who knows how to win late and I think that’s important.
The Seahawks have been a team with Russell Wilson at the helm when they’re down, they’re never out of it.”
