Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Ali Mac, Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan explained why they think the Baltimore Ravens offense will be running the ball a lot more with their running back Derrick Henry on Sunday night in their matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, and running the ball a lot less with whoever their starting quarterback is going to be between their usual starter and franchise QB Lamar Jackson, who’s currently dealing with an ankle injury, and his backup Tyler Huntley.

“If Lamar [Jackson] can’t play I’m not saying that they’re not gonna run everything they want to run and run their offense, but it will be a Derrick Henry game.” Beau Morgan said

Mike Johnson responded by saying “How much are you willing to run Tyler Huntley, and put him in harm’s way, because I think it would make the Ravens offense better, but I don’t think you want to get past him on the depth chart.”

It will be very interesting to see how much, or if any of the Ravens offensive game plan changes if Lamar doesn’t play Sunday night, or even if he does play, but is very limited with his ankle injury. Regardless, the Falcons need to be ready to stop Derrick Henry because if they don’t stop him nothing else will matter.
