Atlanta Falcons Radio Analyst Dave Archer joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the battle at left guard, how will Dirk Koetter use Toddy Gurley, and who is the X-Factor for the Falcons heading into the season?
When asked who will be the X-Factor for the Falcons defense this season.
“Maybe the X-Factor is Raheem Morris," said Archer. "Can Raheem Morris get this team dialed in? They’re doing some things out there that I haven’t seen done in a long time with what they’re doing with their corners and I’ll just throw that out as a teaser.
“I think it’s going to surprise to some quarterbacks, especially some of the young quarterbacks we see in the league, some of these veterans guys might have seen it.
“This is the most versatile defensive unit I’ve seen. Now does it translate to the numbers you’re looking for? That’s what they’re hoping for. So the X-Factor might be Raheem Morris’ ability to dial these guys in like he had them dialed in for the second half of 2019.”
