Kevin Durant was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Phoenix Suns for a kings ransom overnight as the Suns push all-in.
While that move may work out for Phoenix in the long-term, 92.9 The game Atlanta Hawks Reporter Caleb Johnson explains how it's a big boost for the Hawks when they face the Suns tonight.
"You're going to face the Phoenix Suns who are going to be without Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson because they traded them away, Kevin Durant and TJ Warren, who they got back in the deal, not going to be ready to go tonight, on top of Devin Booker being out. You get a shorthanded team."
The Atlanta Hawks could use a few home wins, the team is just 13-11 at State Farm Arena this season, tied for 3rd fewest in the Eastern Conference.
