The city of Atlanta wasn't terribly thrilled with the way the NBA draft lottery fell for the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks came away with the eighth and 10th overall picks, but fans wanted to be higher, maybe even as high as No. 1 to flirt with the idea of taking Zion Williamson.
While Williamson may still be out of reach, the Hawks are, reportedly, talking with the New York Knicks about trading up in the draft.
Am told by another NBA team exec same as in ESPN report, Knicks have initiated talks with Hawks to trade 3 for 8+10 @929TheGame @MikeConti929
