We went into the Redmont Zone with Charles Barkley and talked some NBA playoffs and after scoring 30 points in his first two playoff games including a game winner what does Trae Young have to do to get national respect?

When asked about Trae Young not yet getting respect from the National media.

“In fairness he hasn’t done anything to deserve it to be honest with you, this is the first time he’s made the playoffs, he hit a game winner. Until you do something in the playoffs you’re not going to get recognition, that’s just the way this thing is,” Barkley said. “You can put up all the gaudy numbers you want to during the regular season, but number one they’re winning, the Hawks are winning which is great, but also he hit the game winner, he’s got a lot of swag but until they win a series he’s not going to get the national attention.”

“If he keep playing like he’s playing now, he’s playing great and they win a series, he’s going to get a lot of love and he deserves it. You gotta win in the playoffs to get any kind of love.”
