Atlanta Hawks Pre/Postgame host Mike Conti joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the team’s win last night over the Bucks, and could Cam Reddish now be the x-factor to the Hawks making an NBA finals appearance?

When asked about Cam Reddish, Conti talked about his importance to the rest of this series.

“I think he’s played his way in the mix now, and I’m surprised that I’m saying that. If you would have asked me twenty four hours ago I would have been very, very negative Cam Reddish’s chances to make an impact on this series,” Conti said. “For the reason you mentioned, he just hadn’t played meaningful minutes in four months, he’s barely played five on five in the last four months, played low pressure minutes in game two just to get his sea legs, I think what he showed last night is he can be a neutralizer defensively on Middleton.”

“If Giannis is out for the rest of the series Middleton becomes the focal point offensively for Milwaukee and I think that’s where Cam Reddish as a wing defender, who shut down Middleton last night is going to be very, very important the rest of this series.”
