Would you trade John Collins to Mavs for Christian Wood, Reggie Bullock, and Dallas' second-round pick?

The deal would also include the Hawks sending Justin Holiday to Dallas.

According to a report from the Athletic's Shams Charania, the Mavs are one of a handful of teams, including the Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets, and Washington Wizards, that are currently interested in acquiring Collins.

The Mavs, who have been connected to Collins in the past, could use an upgrade in the front court, with the newly acquired Christian Wood struggling to find consistency with the Mavs.

In fact, Wood is averaging his lowest totals across the board since the 2019 season.

So what would it take to land Collins in Dallas?

One interesting idea comes from Michael Mulford of DallasBasketball.com, who pitched a scenario in which the Mavs send Wood, Reggie Bullock and a future second round pick to the Hawks in exchange John Collins and Justin Holiday.

Not only would the trade seemingly stabilize a rocky position for the Mavs, but it would also give both Wood and Collins a chance at a fresh start.

Collins is averaging 12.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks this season with Atlanta, and hits nearly 38 percent from three points range in his career.
