The Atlanta Hawks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 121-100 and set a new team record in the victory by draining 25 three pointers.
One of the many bright spots was Danilo Gallinari who had four of the twenty five 3's while pouring in 20 points and drew the compliments of Hawks GM Travis Schlenk.
"Gallo came into camp late, played the Olympics this year, Gallo can make jump shots, it just took him a while to get his legs underneath him," says Schlenk. "His game isn't based on athleticism so he's gonna be able to be an effective player for many more years still."
Over his last 3 games Gallinari has scored 17 or more points and Gallo hasn't missed a free throw in his last 9 games going 29-29 from the charity stripe in that stretch.
