Hawks have been silent, but that doesn't mean they don't have a plan

The NBA's negotiating period began at 6pm on Friday and every single team in the NBA has agreed to sign at-least one free agent except for one, the Atlanta Hawks.

While the Hawks did make a trade to acquire TyTy Washington and Usman Gabara from the Houston Rockets, John Fricke doesn't think that's the entire plan for this offseason, he'd like Carl Dukes to give the front office some time.

There's only 2 possibilities here," declares John Fricke. "There is something in the works or there not going to tell you they're set for a gigantic move next year."

The Hawks could also be looking at working on some extensions for a trio of key contributors, including Dejounte Murray, Onyeka Okongwu, and Saddiq Bey, but that would still feel like a net-loss after moving John Collins to the Utah Jazz.

While Hawks fans wait to see what the plan actually is, it's tough not to feel like the team has already lost some ground in the Eastern Conference.
