Still, when the game hung in the balance, it was CJ McCollum who took control—guiding Atlanta back to force overtime and then providing the edge in the extra period. If the Hawks hope to translate wins like this into postseason success, they may ultimately need Johnson to be the one asserting himself in those defining moments.
