Jalen Johnson has been dealing with a right shoulder injury that had kept him off and on the injury report for the past two week, but in the early stages of the 2nd Quarter of Thursday's loss to the Raptors he was forced off the court with a new injury, this time to his left shoulder, and it could sideline him moving forward.
The biggest concern is that the Hawks are a different team without Jalen Johnson on the floor. "It's unfortunate for the Hawks because he's your second best player, and we see the difference when he's in there and when he isn't," says Randy McMichael. "He's going to miss time. You see what he is and what this team is when he's healthy and you don't have somebody that can replace that."
While the Hawks are 4-4 this season without Jalen Johnson, there is certainly concern that they can't keep winning games without him and now you have to wonder what impact this injury could have on the teams plans ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline.
