On Thursday Andy & Randy reacted to the Atlanta Hawks 117-107 opening night win over the Houston Rockets led by Dejounte Murray and Trae Young. In his Hawks debut Murray had 20 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and zero turnovers. Young finished with 23 points and 13 assists.

After the 1-0 start the Hawks are looking at a very favorable schedule over the next 9 days starting with a Friday night game at State Farm Arena against an inexperienced Orlando Magic team, followed by another home game Sunday against the Charlotte Hornets who may be without LaMelo Ball due to an ankle injury. After the home stand the Hawks hit the road to take on the Detroit Pistons next Wednesday October 26th and next Friday October 28th.

So Andy and Randy were asked by their producer, Brian Gebhardt, how big of a deal are the next four games for the Hawks?

Check out the audio clip above to hear Andy & Randy explain why they do think the Hawks upcoming schedule is crucial for a couple different reasons.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p as well as every Hawks game on 92.9 The Game.
