Disappointing series loos in NBA Playoffs have Hawks ready 'to get going'
In less than 30 days, the Atlanta Hawks will get their 2026-2027 NBA season underway when they travel to Florida to face the Orlando Magic and on Wednesday, Hawks guard, Dyson Daniels joined 92-9 The Game’s Mike Bell and John Fricke, to discuss the team’s mindset as they get ready to get the season going.
“Feeling good about the games coming up,” Daniels said of the Hawks, who are hosting training camp in Nashville, Tennessee, preparing for their preseason opener against the Memphis Grizzlies on October 5. “Guys are getting ready and guys are excited for that and we’re just looking forward to another season,” Daniels continued.
“Everyone is motivated from last year and what happened in that Knicks series so we’re ready to get out there and get going,” Daniels said, noting the Hawks having a bad taste in their mouth following their series loss to the New York Knicks in the opening round of the NBA playoffs.Hawks preparing for 2026-2027 season
