Atlanta United's stay in Orlando for the #MLSIsBack Tournament went about as poorly as possible. They entered the bubble among the favorites and not only did they not collect a win, they didn't even tally a goal in the three losses.
After leaving Orlando, United made a change at manager and brought in a few new players to improve the attack. One of those players, Cubo Torres, debuted in United's 2-0 win on Saturday and notched an assist on Pity Martinez's second goal.
There's not much time to celebrate the 2-0 victory as United is back in action on Wednesday at Miami, but before The Five Stripes leaves town, Midfielder Mo Adams joined John and Hugh and spoke about the feeling of getting back on track.
"We couldn’t wait to get started. We left the bubble, put our heads down and got to work," details Mo Adams. "We couldn’t wait to put things right and it feels great with games coming fast to start with a win and something to build from."
Mo also previewed the upcoming game with Miami on Wednesday evening and how they haven't played them before but have a general idea of what to expect.
"Inter Miami, all we know is they won their last game. They’re going to be buzzing, first franchise win," explained Adams. "We know they’re a high pressing team, so we’ll watch film today and study them and be ready to go."
