Atlanta United has had an interesting season thus far.
The 5-Stripes are coming off two losses in a row, one in the U.S. Open Cup match against Memphis 901 FC, and another to Nashville. Next up, Atlanta United will be facing Inter Miami in Fort Lauderdale. Can they bounce back and get in the groove of things once again?
Jason Longshore, from Atlanta Soccer Tonight, really likes the ability Atlanta United has to fight back.
"This is a team with the Columbus game being the glaring exception and the only one, that always is fighting in games," Longshore said. "And I thought the response was really good."
Atlanta did show spirit and fought back despite being down 0-2. United will be looking to carry some of that good momentum at the end of the game into their match against Inter Miami in Fort Lauderdale.
Inter Miami snapped a six-game losing streak before the U.S. Open Cup with their victory over Miami FC and Columbus. Does Inter Miami have more momentum after winning two in a row? Both teams will be looking to get off to an early start and play their brand of soccer. Availability and key matchups will be major factors in this matchup between Miami FC and Atlanta United.
