Charles Barkley is known for speaking his mind and not holding back when discussing any topic.

When learning that he and the rest of the TNT crew will be traveling to San Francisco for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks, Chuck made it known to his co-host and the viewing audience that he's not a fan of the bay area.

In the final segment of Inside the NBA on TNT on Sunday, Barkley went on an odd rant about the city of San Francisco, comparing it to 'hell.'

“We’re going to hell, I mean San Francisco,” Barkley said Sunday after learning about having to travel to the city. “I hate San Francisco. I just don’t like it." Barkley continues. "I have to like a city because y'all like it?”

Barkley then followed it up with a joke aimed at Shaquille O'Neal, asking the Hall of Famer if they were going to visit his family at the infamous Alcatraz.

“Are we going to visit your family? A family reunion?” Barkley said to Shaq.

His comment is not likely going to sit well with Warriors fans but for context, when the Dubs played at Oracle Arena in Oakland, all the national media members would stay in downtown San Francisco. So whatever the 'round mound of rebound experienced during his trips to the bay, it's best to assume that it was not pleasant.

Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals kicks off tonight at 9:00 p.m. on TNT.
