The news comes not long after the Cowboys officially lost wideout Michael Gallup due to an calf strain injury, that could leave him out up to five weeks.

The Cowboys were already without guard Zack Martin, who missed Thursday's game after testing positive for COVID-19.

Luckily for Dallas, Martin is expected to be back before next Sunday's matchup with the Chargers in Los Angeles at SoFi stadium.

In place of Collins, swing tackle Ty Nsekhe is expected to be inserted to the starting lineup.

Collins, who missed all of the 2020 season after having hip surgery, will now be forced to miss his 21 games in 22 possible outings.

The Cowboys offensive line, which was one of the few bright spots for Dallas in their 31-29 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday, will now be short handed once again -- a trend that got them into big trouble throughout the entirety of the 2020 season.
