Coming off the heels of one of their best offensive games this season, the Atlanta Falcons are beginning to prepare for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and can move to 3-0 in division play with the win, which Dr.
Arnold Mellits told The Steakhouse he believes they will do, when he joined Steak Shapiro and Sandra Golden on Wednesday.

Dr. Mellits joined Shapiro and Golden to share his thoughts on how the Falcons performed in their win over the Bucs last Thursday and what he believed to be some of the reasons Atlanta was able to walk away with the victory. Noting that better blocking form Chris Lindstrom and Bijan Robinson in addition to improved usage of Kyle Pitts as well as the addition of Darnell Mooney, Mellits noted to be key in the Falcons win on Thursday.

However, as the doctor continued, he shared his thoughts on just how important Jessie Bates III was not only in the Buccaneers matchup, but for the Falcons in general. “It’s a broken record, but he’s the best player on the team in my opinion,” Mellits told Shapiro and Golden highlighting the Pro Bowl safety’s performance as he forced two fumbles on Thursday. “It’s just great, he’s all over the Field,” Mellits added.

In agreeance with Mellits, Shapiro would state he believes Bates III to be “one of the best five Falcons’” players he has watched over the past 10 seasons.
