After a few years in recent memory where the Georgia Bulldogs home schedule for football included some of the weaker teams in the SEC combined with the usual non-power five teams, the Dawgs finally have a home schedule worth getting excited about.
Wednesday morning UGA Athletic Director Josh Brooks joined The Steakhouse to break down why he believes this is the best home schedule in UGA history.
Georgia will host Alabama in Week 5, Ole Miss in Week 8, and Texas in Week 11.
The Dawgs haven’t hosted the Crimson Tide since 2015, a forgetful 38-10 loss, and haven’t won in Athens against Alabama since 2003.
Meanwhile, Georgia has never hosted Texas between the hedges but does have two wins over the Longhorns last season.
Georgia will look to keep their longest home win streak in the country rolling when they host Marshall Week 1.
