Former Georgia QB Aaron Murray: 'You've got the better roster… line up and beat their ass'

The Georgia Bulldogs will face a familiar opponent, but one they have yet to conquer, when they meet Alabama in the national championship game on January 10 in Indianapolis.

It's a rematch between the two teams who just played a month ago in the SEC Championship, Alabama winning 41-24. It marked Georgia's seventh-straight loss to the Crimson Tide.

Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart is also trying to get his first win against his former boss Nick Saban. If he wants to win a championship, he'll have to get over that hump on Monday.

Former Dawgs' quarterback Aaron Murray joined The Midday Show on Thursday to preview the title matchup. He said Kirby doesn't need to do anything different, just trust his players.

"Just do your job," Murray told Andy and Randy. "Trust your skill set, trust your play calls, and you're going to be fine.

"It's the same message for Kirby; you've got the better roster. You don't need to have any kind of crazy plays--maybe you have a couple trick plays on offense like we kind of saw last week. Maybe you bring one or two of those out.
