On Thursday Andy & Randy were joined by former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback and current ESPN and Sirius XM college football Analyst Aaron Murray who previewed “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators this Saturday in Jacksonville, FL at 3:30pm on CBS.

The Bulldogs come into Saturday’s game against the Gators as 22.5 point favorites and have won 4 out of the last 5 in this rivalry game.

Andy & Randy talked to Murray about a number of topics including the future of this particular game in Jacksonville, Anthony Richardson and Georgia’s offensive line but the middle of the conversation went directly towards the skill players for Georgia and Murray’s thoughts on how they have performed so far this year.

“I was hoping that A.D. Mitchell would be back. That’s been a huge weapon that we all know how talented he is…that was a position that I was finally saying this season like we (Georgia) finally have some legitimate receivers because I feel like it has been a hindrance for this offense for the past 3 or 4 years and I know we (Georgia) had Pickens but Pickens was banged up or suspended…we weren’t seeing everything that Pickens had to offer and we really didn’t have many other options,” Murray said about the wide receivers.

Murray also went on to talk about how the tight ends in Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington need a little help on this team and how Ladd McConkey has had a pretty good season all-around.

“I like this offense, I really like Stetson (Bennett). The one thing that gives me confidence is that Stetson has that confidence. Stetson has that gamer mentality where he is not afraid of the big time moment,” Murray stated about Stetson Bennett.

“I still want to see this run game getting going a little bit. It’s been a little bit odd. It’s kind of been musical chairs back there with Edwards (Daijun Edwards) and Milton (Kendall Milton) and McIntosh (Kenny McIntosh) and even Branson Robinson in there…My money is on Kenny McIntosh to kind of become that more consistent number 1 guy. I think he is that James Cook esque type back that Georgia likes to use but I just want to see more from him and that running back group the second half of the season,” Murray said about the running back room.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p on 92.9 The Game.
