Georgia beat Marshall 45-7 on Saturday to open their season, and while Gunner Stockton did damage with his arm and his legs, Dawg Nation Daily host Brandon Adams looked elsewhere to find a guy who stood out in the ground game.

"The most fun thing (about the opener) is you saw a couple of new playmakers emerge. Zachariah Branch, Georgia spent big on him and he showed you why," says Brandon Adams. "I think it's really exciting to consider Dwight Phillips and the role he might have in the Georgia running game. I would like for someone other than Gunner Stockton to be the leading rusher. Dwight Phillips looks fun, knows how to run around people, run away from guys, that's a valuable commodity."

Dwight Phillips Jr. had just 5 carries against Marshall, but totaled 60 yards including a 17-yard TD run that opened the scoring for Georgia in the first quarter, was 5th on the team in carries, but could have a bigger role if he keeps providing splash plays and chunk yardage on the ground.
