The Georgia Bulldogs can focus their attention on the upcoming season now that the 2021 recruiting class has signed.
Brandon Adams of DawgNation joined The Midday Show to recap Georgia's offseason to other programs they'll contend with within the SEC.
When you compare Georgia's offseason to one of its biggest competitors in the SEC East in Florida, how do the Bulldogs stack up?
Adams said it depends on what side of the ball you want to look at.
"On the offensive side of the ball, things are great (for Georgia). (J.T.) Daniels made the decision to come back. Zamir White made the decision to come back," said Adams. "Georgia, when it comes to returning production on offense, looks pretty phenomenal.
"Defensively, with all the secondary guys that chose to leave, that looks like a good bit of attrition and that defense will probably suffer a little bit next season because of it."
That said, when comparing the two programs, Adams believes Georgia is in better shape than Florida.
"I think Florida leaves the 2020 season in worse shape than Georgia," said Adams. "Florida, so much of what they did a year ago was Kyle Trask throwing to Kyle Pitts and both those guys are gone now."
Former LSU tight end Arik Gilbert ended up transferring his talents to Florida, but whether he'll be eligible is the big question.
"Even with the arrival of Gilbert to Gainesville, I'd say that Georgia's had the better offseason between the two programs."
