Brock Bowers suffered a high ankle sprain in the first half of Georgia's 37-20 win over Vanderbilt back on October 14th, and after undergoing surgery to repair the injury, he could be on the precipice of return for the Dawgs ahead of a big home game, a top 10 matchup, against Ole Miss.

Comments and discussion on brock Bowers return begins at 1:13 in the clip below:

The estimated timeline for the tight rope procedure that Bowers underwent wad four-to-six weeks and Saturday would mark 26 days, so while the recovery has been a little quicker than expected, but not unbelievably so. Previously, while the QB at Alabama, Tua Tagovailoa had a near identical procedure and returned in 27 days.

If Bowers is able to play, it would be a welcome addition for Georgia as they gear up for the latest challenge in a difficult stretch of the schedule, a second consecutive top 15 matchup of potentially 3 straight if Tennessee can beat Missouri this weekend.

Bowers is still very limited in practice, but depending on how he feels throughout the week, there is at-least a non-zero chance that he does take the field on Saturday, likely his last home game for the Dawgs.
