Can Georgia draw anything besides a mid-major head coach?

Ahead of Wednesday's SEC Tournament game against Vanderbilt, reports came out about UGA parting ways with Tom Crean. While many feel that Georgia is a sleeping giant, 92.9 The Game's college basketball Insider DeShaun Tate isn't sure the Georgia job is a draw, especially for Power 5 coaches.

"The problem is with the Georgia head coaching vacancy is there's not a ton of coaches that aren't downgrading by going to Georgia."

Once the separation between Crean and UGA was reported there were plenty of articles about who some of the top candidates might be for Georgia. DeShaun Tate doesn't agree with some of the names being tossed around.

"Outside of recruiting, the Georgia job is going to be considered a downgrade for just about anybody in the country unless you are a mid-major program and even then that depends on the mid-major," continues DeShaun Tate.
