Carson Beck has had the luxury of playing all four games this season at home, but that changes on Saturday. The Dawgs will play their second SEC game of the season, but it will be their first road conference game of the season as they travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium to take on the Auburn Tigers.
Even though it will be one of the shorter trips Georgia fans will have to make to root on their Dawgs, Auburn will still have a noticeable home field advantage, but Brad Nessler thinks Carson Beck will have no problem performing in the hostile and ruckus environment.
“The fact that Carson Beck really hasn’t been in that kind of atmosphere yet, he’s been kind of nurtured by having four straight home games at home at Sanford Stadium so it’ll be a little bit of an eye opener I think for the young Georgia players that they haven’t seen yet that kind of atmosphere. It doesn’t mean they won’t be able to handle it, I think they will and if it’s just chalk Georgia is definitely probably should win the ballgame.” Nessler said
Brad finished his thought by saying “I think Carson can handle it, you know the crowd noise is one thing, he’s a pretty cool customer, and the way he’s played so far I think he’s getting better every week and if that progressing keeps going Georgia is going to find out that they’ve got a really good one on their hands and I think they knew that.”
This will be the biggest game yet for Carson Beck and the Bulldogs, and the Dawgs quarterback keeping his composure on the road, against one of your rivals, in an important SEC conference game will be the first key to victory.
