Tom Crean should be held to same standard of winning as Kirby Smart

The Georgia Bulldogs will be on the outside looking in again as far as the NCAA Tournament goes. To add to that, the Bulldogs didn't even get an invite to the NIT.

For a long time, SEC schools have gotten away with just letting their programs be. But with the amount of money SEC schools are bringing in annually, there is no reason why these schools shouldn’t be competing for a spot in the tourney every year.

Tom Crean, head basketball coach of the Bulldogs, is mostly responsible for leading his team into the postseason. Crean should be held to a certain standard now that the bar has been raised when it comes to SEC basketball.

Jon Chuckery thinks that Georgia basketball should be held to the same standard as the football program. "There needs to be some pressure on Tom Crean to start winning this year," Chuckery said.

Crean does deserve some credit for being able to bring in a top prospect like Anthony Edwards. But at some point, he is going to get his team in the tournament and get some wins.
